Each week I share a scrapbook layout to give you a little sneak peek into what I’m scrapping, and inspire you to play with pretty pixels too. Today I’m sharing pages from Edward's baby album.
Layout: 11 Months
How I did it
I started this page with the template set I've been using throughout the whole album.
- Clip the photos to the template photo spots
- Choose a background paper
- Clip papers to the paper spots
- Move the 11 months label on the right hand page
- Fill in the blank photo spots with patterned paper and washi
- Create a title with Anna Forrest's All in a Line Script & Action. (Demonstrated in this class!)
- Add shadows
- Journal with the type tool and my handwriting font
I love using templates to make pages more quickly, you can learn more about how they work in Digital Scrapbooking for Absolute Beginners.
Journaling
Notes from today:
You are keen to try anything Emily does (even sitting on the potty/toilet!) you love to blow bubbles for swimming lessons and you especially love Daddy being home on the weekend.
Baby Report:
Likes: cake! Tiny teddies, anything Emily has, swinging
Dislikes: itchy grass, cutting new molars
How has baby changed from the last month?
making lots more sounds, talking in his cot at bedtime, becoming a little more adventurous.

I really LOVE that grid page!! And the font you use is great – is that made from your own handwriting or just a font you liked?

It’s my own handwriting turned into a font 🙂 http://www.digitalscrapbookinghq.com/yourfonts

Great layout. I love the white stitching between all of the photos on the gride page!

I think 2012 (when I started this project!!!) was the year of stitching for me. I still love it and try to find some place to add it on most pages 🙂
